Spring Trees: Direct Painting without a Brush!

Wednesday May 17, 6-8pm

£45 includes all materials and a tasting fine local Plumpton wines introduced by a winemaker*.

I am so looking forward to it. I think it should be great fun, and tasty!

Please come enjoy a glass and create something beautiful to celebrate the spring.

We begin with a taste of the award winning local Plumpton wines, introduced by one of the wine-makers or resident connoisseurs.

Then with a delicious glass by your side, we'll  go with the flow and let brilliant watercolour work its magic.

Using some unconventional materials, sponges, sticks, straws and bits of paper you will learn some fun and easy tricks of the trade, and  create beautiful spring trees and blossoms, all without picking up a brush!(well, maybe a toothbrush.)

You will learn new techniques to express yourself (not copy someone else's painting!) And a few sips will help quiet that pesky inner critic, open your artist's eye and let your creative juices flow .

We will break half way through for another tasting, and then continue painting feeling even more relaxed and free.

All materials are provided and all abilities are welcome. Absolutely no experience necessary.

This is a great fun way to explore your creativity and enjoy the flavour of different wines, a perfect way to enjoy a spring evening at the garden.
